Interpretation
Raised in a family with three generations of linemen, Marvin found the routine of a power company job too dull, and tired of seeing "the man" stick it to working class people, he begins helping out the Gordian Net on a consultant basis, bringing his expertise on the power grid to their jobs, keeping the amateurs from getting themselves fried. These adventures scratch his itch so that he can then face going back to his mundane day job with the power company.Marvin has a wife, three kids and large extended family. While he doesn't really consider himself a "real" member of the Gordian Net, (he's just helping!) he's around a lot more than other members.
