Interpretation
Lizzie is a mess. Her loud, forceful personality can be a bit much for some people to take. She grew up in a survivalist war clan in the Dakota badlands, but her wild, unpredictable nature was too much even for them and they cast her out. She wandered randomly until somehow she ended up in San Francisco. When the Gordian Net put out word they were looking for someone who could fix them up with explosives, she showed up.Bi-polar and afflicted with chronic ADHD, Lizzie is either the life of the party, or a major bummer. Her reaction to things she doesn't like is to lash out and tear it down, even if that's herself. She thrives on causing chaos, so it's not surprising she loves big weapons and explosives. She probably wouldn't last long in the real world, but being in the Gordian Net give her enough of a grounding support structure to keep her from killing herself, and can focus her chaotic impulses in constructive ways.
She had no splice when she first arrived in California, but the GN set her up with one. This also allows her to run neural stimulation programs that help keep her more even-keeled.
